NEWPORT HARBOR COSTA MESA LIONS CLUB

The Newport Harbor Costa Mesa Lions Club serves the community of Costa Mesa, California and surrounding area.  Our club has been in existence since 1992 and our members are dedicated to helping those in need by donating funds to local charities and participating in projects that fulfill the needs of others.  Our goals are many and we welcome new members.  Joining a Lions club will change your life; you will be a member of the largest service organization in the world, Lions Clubs International.             Our motto is "We Serve."            

What We Do

We help a local Boys and Girls Club with their
Christmas gift wrapping. 

We donate school boxes filled with necessary supplies to all the first graders of an elementary school.

Other projects include:  collecting eyeglasses and hearing aids, volunteering for city events and other charitable organizations, serving meals at Ronald McDonald House, small toy collecting for Spencer's Treasures, Clothing drive for Women Helping Women, Food Drive collections, and adopting families and fulfilling their Christmas wish lists. We sponsor youth programs such as the Peace Poster Contest and the Student Speaker Contest.

 We have several fund raisers each year, including a Casino Night, Lucy and Ethyl's Bingo Parlor night, Spaghetti Splash Dinner, Candy sales at Christmas and Easter an annual Garage Sale and Dining for Dollars at local restaurants.

We meet the first and third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. 

Our Board meeting is the fourth Monday of each month.
