Our members come from all walks of life. We are business owners, teachers, professionals, home makers, community leaders, all interested in donating our time, talents and material wealth to help our community and others world wide.
We have grown in numbers throughout our existance to over 50 members. Originally our club was a part of the Costa Mesa Newport Harbor Lions Clubs, also known as the "Fish Fry Club." We were classified as "Lionesses." In 1992, we chartered as a separate club and became official Lions or the "Newport Harbor Costa Mesa Lions Club." We are also known as the "Harbor Mesa Lions." Our club visits other clubs in the District not only to meet other Lions but to learn about their projects and events. We also participate in and attend the District Convention each May and we have won many awards for our efforts.
